to speak with the baltimore ravens linebacker about the personal and political impact this issue has inside and outside of pro sports. >> certainly this is a hot button issue in the state of maryland where the governor martin o'malley has pushed for marriage equality. in november people will go to the ballots to see this put forth making maryland the 8th state in the country to legalize same sex unions. how do you think people in maryland and around the country have reacted to hearing the kickback that you got from burns for your support for marriage equality? >> it has been overwhelming, a worldwide effect. i've gotten e-mails from all over the world especially here in maryland and baltimore and raven fans. everybody is for it. and just people, if you go back 24 months ago people were squawking and i'd hear negative comments and now the overwhelming majority are for marriage equality and treating everybody fairly. it is the right thing to do and it is in the name of love. why would you treat people differently just because they love somebody of the same sex? >> one thing i need to ask you

in baltimore as they made their long awaited return to the field for the ravens game against the browns. and for once the men in stripes were the most popular guys in the stadium, at least for a bit. let's get to the actual game. no score in the first quarter. josh cribbs back to receive a punt for the browns. wow! look at this, folks. he gets popped at the 40 yard line. his helmet comes flying off. anyway, it's a loot ball. that is the least of anybody's worries. cribbs who got sandwiches between defenders lied motionless on the field for a bit. both teams gathered around him in prayer. but thankfully cribbs got up, walked off under his own power, even managed a bit of a smile. picking it up in the third quarter, browns driving into ravens territory down by six. but rookie brandon weedon throws a floater into the flap, picked off by kerry williams. takes it 65 yards the other way and give the ravens a two score lead. browns draw within six and have a chance to win it. weedon throws a hail mary to the end zone. kind of like that seattle play. but this one falls incomplete. now does look

. the orioles, baltimore orioles, began the day yesterday a half game back of the yankees. yankees rained out last night. in order for baltimore to claim a share in the a.l. east, they had to outlast the mariners in a game that literally ended three hours ago? i'm looking at the clock, about three hours ago. top of the ninth, o's down 2-0, two men on. chris davis comes through with a base hit. two runs come around. that ties the game in the ninth inning. the mariners had been looking to close it out. orioles come back to tie it. extra innings now. we're going to jump ahead to the 18th inning. credit the people still in the seats for this one. this is two full major league baseball games. top of the 18th. taylor teagarden hitting .152, drops one down the right field line. run scores. orioles add another one, and they win a six-hour marathon, 4-2. that pulls them even now. >> nobody in that stadium. >> tied for the lead once again. 18 innings. >> so the orioles always win. what are the stats? >> i got them for you. ready for this? their 14th consecutive extra-inning victory, the most since the
